Floating Text Addon | 1.8 – 1.xx - Minecraft PE Addons

Do you want to make your world / realm look like a cool server? There is a solution! The Floating Text addon will allow you to create floating text that has no hitbox, is immortal and does not replace any entity!

This addon adds floating text that has no hitbox, is immortal, does not replace any vanilla entity, cannot be moved by a piston, does not sink in water or lava, is compatible with any number of addons and works on minecraft versions from 1.8 to 1.16.2 and will work in future versions (1.17 etc.).

There are 2 ways to create floating text:

Method 1: find a text call egg (colored nametag) in your inventory and summon it where you want the text to be. It will be nothing and will emit pink particles. Then rename the nametag in the anvil and name the particle emitting location. And you will have floating text! But you cannot rename it again (protection from griefers).

Method 2 (recommended): To create floating text, enter the command:

/summon sirob:floating_text ~~~ “the text to be displayed”

Instead of ~~~, you can write the coordinates of the place where the text will appear (for example 100 64.3 -50)

You can remove floating text by picking up the barrier and holding it in the center of the text line. You can also remove unnamed text (emitting particles)

Known bugs: floating text washes off with flowing water. Addons do not yet allow fixing this.
