Torcherino – The Technical Torch Mod (Android) - Minecraft PE Mods & Addons

The Torcherino is a new type of torch which can be used for increasing the speed of different processes such as crops growth, furnace smelting and sapling growth. In the future it will include more processes such as mobs but it’s already very useful as it is. For example, you can place down this torch at your crops to greatly increase the growing efficiency and as a result produce food more quickly.

How does it work?

A Torcherino can be used for increasing the speed for crop growth, furnace smelting and sapling growth for everything around it in a 7 by 7 blocks area around it.

• Torcherino – 1 Diamond + 1 Stick

It took just 5-10 seconds for the wheat to grow to full size. And as you can see by the image, the seeds which weren’t within the required area didn’t grow at all.

Torcherino Modes

You can switch the mode by tapping on the torch.

• Lite Torcherino
  • 5% chance to grow a crop one step every redstone tick
  • 4% chance to speed up an item in a furnace for every 6 redstone ticks
  • 2.9% chance to grow a sapling every redstone tick
• Classic Torcherino
  • 10% chance to grow a crop by one step every tick
  • 6.7% chance to speed up an item in a furnace every 6 redstone ticks
  • 5% chance to grow a sapling every redstone tick
• Dark Torcherino
  • 20% chance to grow a crop by one step every redstone tick
  • 20% chance to speed up an item in a furnace every 6 redstone ticks
  • 6.7% chance to grow a sapling every redstone tick
