Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium - Minecraft PE Maps

Welcome to the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, located in Tacoma, Washington!

This map was not made by me. It was made by Discord user PandaCam#4642, but I have complete permission to upload this amazing world.

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium is located in Tacoma, Washington. It is a small 27-acre zoo, but there is a ton to be explored!

Kids’ Zone

As the name implies, this area is meant for kids. You can see animals like meerkats, lemurs, and wallabies. You also have the opportunity to pet the goats!

Red Wolf Woods

This area consists of two exhibits home to red wolves You can learn many cool facts about red wolves in the Red Wolf Conservation Center.

Arctic Tundra/Rocky Shores

These two areas both have species that in or near the arctic circle. The Rocky Shores has many aquatic animals like walruses, seals, otters, and puffins. The Arctic Circle has more animals the live inland like arctic foxes, musk oxen, and the endangered polar bear.

Pacific Seas Aquarium

This is one of two aquariums located inside the zoo. You can meet many creatures from the cold northwest down to Baja California, including hammerhead sharks, green sea turtles, and jellyfish.

Wild Wonders Outdoor Theater

This theater allows you to meet different animals every day. A keeper will come on to the stage and tell many interesting facts about a different animal. One day it could be a sloth, the next day a macaw.

South Pacific Aquarium

This aquarium is actually split into two different buildings, but they still show you animals from the same area, the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean. You will be able to explore the outer reef, lagoon, and stingray cove.

Asian Forest Sanctuary

This is the largest area in the entire zoo. You will be able to find many animals from Southeast Asia including the ground-dwelling lowland anoa, all the way to the trees where you can find siamangs and white-cheeked gibbons. There are also other animals like Asian elephants and Sumatran tigers. 

The creator of this map put a lot of hard work into this, so he would greatly appreciate it if you check it out. A lot of hard work was put into this and should be seen by others.

(p.s. The only reason why I’m posting the map and he isn’t is that he was having trouble doing it, so I volunteered to do it for him.)
