Description:
This addon adds death and kill counter to your map since bedrock version still doesn’t have that feature yet. Also this is specially made for pvp map creators so your players can see their scores easily.
For a quick understanding, here’s the video:
USAGE:
/function start = starts the addon
/function show-deaths = shows death counter
/function show-kills = shows kill counter
/give @s coptaine:death = gives death counter item (holding the item will show the death counter)
/give @s coptaine:kill = gives kill counter item (holding the item will show the kill counter)
/function reset = resets the counter
/function end = stops and removes the counter
OPTIONAL:
/function switcher = gives all players the death & kill items
(if you want the players to have the ability to switch from death to kill counter, as shown in the video)
REQUIREMENTS :
Turn on experimental gameplay
FOR ADVANCED USERS :
– This addon uses “kills” and “deaths” as scoreboard objective names. So you can use that on your command blocks as a score tracker. Let’s say your game is a race to a particular score. You can just put something like this on a repeating command block : testfor @a[scores={kills=20}] or testfor @a[scores={deaths=20}].
– You can also opt not to turn experimental gameplay on if you plan not to give the players the ability to switch counters. Let’s say you just want to make a button that switch the counters. Doing that will also not require you to install the resource pack anymore.
NOTE :
This addon might not work with other addons particularly those that modify the player behavior.
