The spawn is on top of a hill in front of a tree on the coast next to an open sea (marked with a red circle in the image).

If you turn slightly to your right and walk in that direction alongside the coast you will reach the beginning of the extreme mountains. The mountains stretches for  a long way but they are only extreme on the coast.
